NELS43 will take place at two different Manhattan campuses of the City University of New York: The Graduate School and University Center (CUNY Graduate Center) in Murray Hill/Midtown East and Hunter College on the Upper East Side. The best thing to do to get to and from anywhere in New York City is use Google Maps. It gives accurate public transportation and walking directions.

The Thursday pre-registration reception and Friday morning registration will take place in the Linguistics, Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences and Audiology Programs Lounge on the 7th floor, room 7400. On Friday, papers will be given in the Proshansky Auditorium and posters will be in the adjacent breakout rooms on the Concourse (Basement) level in rooms C201 – C205

CUNY Graduate Center is located in the historic Altman building on Fifth Avenue between 34th and 35th Streets. The two closest subway station are located at 34th Street and Broadway (34th St. Herald Square), which is served by the B, D, F, N, Q, and R trains, and 33rd and Park Avenue, which is served by the 6 train. The building is two blocks east of Penn Station, which is served by 1, 2, 3, A, C, E, NJ Transit, Long Island Railroad and Amtrak trains, and seven blocks south of Grand Central Station, which is served by the 4, 5, 6, 7, Shuttle to Times Square and Metro-North trains.

The Saturday and Sunday sessions of the conference and workshop will be held on the 6th, and 8th floors of the West Building of the 68th street campus of Hunter College. Papers will be given on the 6th floor and the poster session and reception on Saturday will be held in the Faculty Dining Room on the 8th floor.

Hunter College is located at the intersection of 68th street and Lexington Avenue. The campus is located directly above the 68th Street – Hunter College station of the 6 train. Alternatively, you can take the F train to the 63rd Street and Lexington Avenue station and then walk north on Lexington Avenue.
